How to make organic perfume using essential oils

Most of the perfumes now a days are loaded with harmful ingredients. That is the ones that aren’t organic. It also can be hard to find that perfect scent. The one smell you love or a mixture of smells blended together, creating an aroma oh so pleasing to your senses. That perfect scent, that makes you uniquely you. But how do you find that awe-inspiring smell, and have it organic? Well you make it of course!

Making your own perfume is so simple and inexpensive. You can finally find your marvelous aroma and have it as pure as pure can be. I’ve just made my first perfume, so I’m here to now share it with all of you and give you the recipe.

What you will need:

Vodka
1-2 essential oils of choice
Dark glass bottle, 4oz

Directions:

Pour the vodka into the glass bottle, a little over half full. Next choose which essential oil you want to smell the weakest, and add 3-4 drops. Then choose which essential oil you want to smell the strongest, and add about 8-10 drops. It all depends on how strong you want your perfume. So start off with a little bit and gradually increase to what ever smells the best to you. Put the cap on the bottle and shake it up a bit. Take the cap off and let the alcohol smell evaporate and the essential oils blend together. It’s best to wait 48 hours before using the perfume. The smell will get stronger the longer it sits. Make sure you shake the perfume before every use. Spray it in the air before applying to your body.

Enjoy making an organic, pure perfume! It’s such a great feeling being pure. I love knowing all the ingredients I’m putting on my body because I make the products. I even make my own lotions. I will have to write up a recipe for that soon!

Have a happy, healthy, and wholesome day.
