I’m taking care of three chickens for a family friend. Today when I went over there to feed them and have a nice conversation, I noticed only 2 were waiting for me. I called the other one, to see where she was. Then I heard a chicken noise, the ones they make, I can imitate it perfectly in person but not on here. I walked over to there little house where the noise came from and I opened up the door where I collect the eggs in the morning. Sitting there, was the big white chicken, making her chicken noise, trying to lay an egg. It was coolest thing! I started talking to her saying, “I’m sorry would you like some privacy, but this is so cool, let me take pictures of you. I hope you don’t mind i’m taking pictures. This is weird.” At some point when I had my phone out taking pictures of this chicken laying an egg, I realized how strange this may seem. Here I am peeking at a chicken through a tiny door, holding my camera up, taking pictures of her. Her friends were waiting down below by me. When she was finally done she jumped up and ran down the ladder. I then proceeded to take the egg she had laid. I know, how cruel of me. It was such a cool experience. I love chickens. I want some.
